PotatoMagic is a controlled process by which a potato is heated within a specific, controlled temperature range, then chilled to produce a new potato food product.
This process and its derivatives have now been applied to a large variety of
other produce including vegetables, legumes, fruits, preserved produce and
grains to produce highly nutritious sustainable and low carbon foot print food
products.
About us
Potato Magic Pty. Ltd CEO & Innovator, Andrew Dyhin spent many years researching ways to replicate the properties of aged potatoes, and in doing so, developed a new potato process.
By un raveling the mysteries of fresh produce and their cost effective use
in food manufacturing he is lowering the cost of production, increasing farm
yields and reducing the carbon footprint of the produce growing and food
manufacturing industry.
As a Chemical Engineer, Andrew was involved with the construction of an ice cream factory, a brewery, an automated dairy receivables terminal,
and a FMCG plant, where he was able to gain experience in produce and food industry technology. Andrew has worked as a project management professional and now runs PotatoMagic full time.
